Little Miss Londyn!!

As most of you know a couple of weeks ago I had the opportunity to go and visit my family! What a great trip I had and it was wonderful to see everyone! I fell in love with my little niece Londyn!! Kelli thank you so much for allowing me to spend so much time with her, it was such a treat!! Everyting from rocking her to sleep, carring her throughout the stores, laying on the couch with her in the wee hours of the morning and both of us crashing on the couch, buying her fun things at the store, babysitting while you guys went to practice, giving her a bath, etc.... I loved it!! This was my first time meeting Londyn since she was born and I was hooked the moment I saw her! She is such a cute little girl, how could you not love her!!

The New Kimberly!!!

While in Arizona I had a wild hair and decided that I wanted to color my hair! I bought the product and Kelli was kind enough to do it for me!! I do not reccommend coloring your hair from home! You never know what your hair is actually going to look like!!! Kelli I do not blame you at all!! I definately needed to get it fixed up though! The wild hair continued and I decided that blonder and bangs would be fun!! So that is just what I did!!!

Surf's Up!!

Last Saturday I was able to fly out to San Diego to vistit my mom and Bob!! I am having a great time, however, I wish Josh and Hailey could have joined me! On Thursday I continue my trip and head to Phoenix to visit family and friends!! I am looking forward to seeing everyone there! Today I took my moms car and drove west, I had no idea were I was going but knew the beaches were west! My mom told me not to worry about directions home because onstar would get me back!! Thank heavens for onstar! It made the trip much less stressful because I did not need to worry about how to get back, I could just drive! I ended up at this incredible beach! It was so beautiful, the water felt good and I walked about 3 or 4 miles!! I was a little hot by the end and just wanted to hop in the water!! Should have worn my suit!! Race For The Cure!!

I cannot believe it was a year ago that I walked the first race for the cure! This year was no exception! I had such a great time and I was able to walk with a very dear friend!! Thank you so much Pam for coming with me!! You are such a great friend and it was for such a great cause!! Thank you! Thank you!!

They estimated about 65,000 people walked this year! Incredible!! I was so excited to be part of it again!

Play Ball!!

We had such a fun day as a family today!! Josh and I played in a softball tournament and took it all!! I had such a great time! I have not played softball for several years and I was quite nervous and quite intimidated!! However, I was so happy with my results!!! I never struck out! YEAH!! A couple of fly balls but that is ok, at least I made contact with the ball and as the games went on my swing got better and better!!! I rounded the plates a couple of times!! Josh on the other hand knocked about 6 balls out of the park! He is so fun to watch!!

While running to second base I got clocked in the back of my leg just below my knee, oh how it stung!! I now have a softball size bruise on my leg, literally!!! Hailey loved being in the dugout with us and rolling down the grass hill with me! After 3 games I am a little tuckered!! Now to do a 10k tomorrow.... Walking of course!!! Sorry Pam, running is not my forte'!

Life Lesson #5

#5 Use baby oil before drying off from a bath or shower!

With the cold weather rapidly over taking us I am not anticipating the day I have to take a shower when it is freezing outside!! I can never seem to get warm! I have learned that using baby oil before drying off will help hold the heat of the shower in!! Try it, and it leaves your skin super soft!!

Life Lesson #4

#4 Do not make eye contact with a stranger at a fast food restaurant!

I picked my neighbors kids up from school today and they were hungry so we stopped at Burger King to take advantage of the $1 menu! While waiting for the food I was sitting at a table while they went and played in the play area.... The gentleman sitting aross from me pointed at Payton and asked if she was mine... I replyed no she is my neighbors, I pick them up from school on Thursdays... That was the end of that conversation. After eating they went back out and played for a moment, in the meantime the gentleman who was talking to me earlier got up to leave. He then proceeded to tell me that his friend makes and designs these play areas.... Which is great, I wish I was creative like that... Here is the kicker, he then tells me that there is some waterfall in Michigan that he sits behind and smokes marajuana and comes up with these designs... Nice, I really did not need to know that the guy who designs these toys that are kids play on is a pot smoker!! Don't talk to strangers!

Life Lesson #3

#3 If you take your debit card out of your wallet, make sure you put it back...

Last night I was using my debit card on the computer and left it on the desk thinking that I would grab it in the morning.... Oh yes, I forgot.... We ran into our lunch hour at work and I usually come home for lunch, however, today I had about 10 minutes so I decided to run across the parking lot to Taco Bell.... While standing in line waiting to be helped I realized that my debit card was at home! Then after work I went to deposit a check in the ATM, again, realizing I left my card at home I had to go inside the bank! UGH! I am beginning to think that my mind is going to quickly for me, and sometimes I wish I could turn it off for a moment and just be! The kicker is, I remembered after I got home from work that I had $10 in cash in my purse... I tell you, some days!!!
