Winter Is Finally Here!!

We have waited so long for it to finally snow! However, I must say I was a little surprised that it started snowing on Friday night considering it was such a beautiful day!! I went shopping at SouthLands and it was perfect!! While Josh and I were putting Hailey to bed that night I noticed that the streets were wet... I peeked out the blinds and to my surprise it was snowing!! YEAH!!! The snow has continued falling through the weekend!! Perfect! We all had such a great time playing in the snow!! Josh and Hailey had fun throwing snowballs and Jax loved catching them in his mouth!!

Speechless!!!

There are no words to properly explain this story I am about to share with you... Never in my life have I seen a typo on something I have purchased, well at least not on a childs toy! Today while at Walmart I decided to get Hailey a Cabbage Patch, I know you are all thinking what a harmless gift.... ME TOO!!! I got home and while talking to my mom on the phone I was looking at things I had purchased.... That is when I saw it!!! There was a very sweet and special little note on the box to all little kids that would be taking care of these special little dolls... Again HARMLESS!!! This is what it says or supposed to say "Love and nurture your CPK newborn" As I was reading I noticed that the word "NURTURE" was written on a sticker that was purple to match the box... I thought this is strange why would there be a sticker?!?!? Then it hit me... There must be a typo!! Remember all of this was taking place while on the phone with my mom!! All I could do was laugh and laugh and laugh when I pealed the sticker off!! It read "Love and NUTURE your CPK newborn!!!!! Oh My Goodness!!! Granted that is not how you spell neuter but still.... I am not sure what to do.... When the doll needs a checkup do I take it to a pediatrician or a vet?!?! I had to go over to my neighbors across the street because I knew they would get a kick out of it!! The husband asked if I wanted him to scan the box.... YES of course!! I hope you all enjoy!! They told me I should save the box and send it to Leno after Hailey opens it!! Could you imagine!!!

Poor Jax!!

Jax has been feeling a little under the weather the past couple of days so we got to go on a field trip to the vet!! Come to find out he has the beginning stages of hip dysplasia! Ugh! Fortunately there is a tablet he can take that relieve the symptoms returing him to normal activity. The past couple of days have been pretty sad watching him!! All he has wanted to do is lay around and that is not typical!! Hailey was on our computer this morning and this is what she wrote about Jax "MY NAM IS HAILEY MY DOG IS HRT I LIKE HIM I PLAY WITH HIM YOU HER ME I LOVE" I am sure that she was not finished but I thought it was pretty sweet! I will keep you all updated!!

Peanut Butter Playdough

We had so much fun last night when the twins came over! I watched an episode of John and Kate plus eight awhile back and got this recipie! Who knew you could make peanut butter playdough?!?! We all had such a great time with it!! The boys and Hailey thought it was super funny when Josh would throw it on the ceiling and make it stick.... I had my reservations at first but could not help but laugh!! Especially when Jax thought it was going to fall in his mouth! To my surprise when it came off the ceiling there were no oil marks left! Even better!! I should have taken the camera out sooner, but that did not happen!! Once we were all done playing and on to another activity the boys wanted to play again with the dough!! Hailey was singing High School Musical on you tube!!!

Oh, did I mention you can eat it!!!

The Boy In The Striped Pajamas!

About a week ago I saw a movie trailor for a film that was coming out in select theaters on Friday! Something about the movie captured my attention and I have wanted to see it ever since! Well tonight I was able to go. I am still trying to unrattle my brain and try to wrap my thoughts and feelings around the film as a whole. This by far was one of the most touching movies I have ever seen. Probably because this really happened!! Not the actual story line but the many lives that were lost due to a single man who was pure evil! For those of you who think this movie might be a good one, I encourage you to see it! Bring some kleenex!! All I can say is wow! I am speechless!



Plot: Set during World War II, a story seen through the innocent eyes of Bruno, the eight-year-old son of the commandant at a concentration camp, whose forbidden friendship with a Jewish boy on the other side of the camp fence has startling and unexpected consequences.

Fall Is Here.... Officially!!

However you could not tell it was fall because it has been rather warm.... Ok, for all you Arizona bloggers, it is warmer than normal for this time of year! I love watching all the leaves change colors and fall to the ground! We love raking up the leaves and playing in them!!! I love all the colors of fall!!! I am not sure I am ready for winter!! Ugh, I know it is just around the corner!! But with it comes.... Drum roll please.... All of my favorite holidays!!!

I hope all of you had a fun and safe Halloween!! I know that Josh, Hailey and I had a great time!! Last night started with trick-or-treating with the twins over in their neighborhood... It was so cute watching all 3 of the kiddos getting into it!! As soon as they rang the doorbells they would say "No one is home... Lets go to the next house" Obviously they were home and we had to call them back to get their treats!! Hailey was much more patient!! Then we had pizza over at their house and from there took the boys over to Pam and Jasons for a Halloween Party!! We had fun playing rockband, eating, watching all the kids play so well, and visiting!!! Thank you Pam and Jason for hosting, the party was a lot of fun!! Hailey went as a pink princess, Josh was a cowboy, I was a vision from the 80's and the boys were cops and robbers!
