It's A Girl!!!

No I am not expecting!! Josh and I had a date night tonight at Ruby Tuesdays!! The company, conversation and food were wonderful! On our way home we both spotted this little puppy running on the sidewalk... Keep in mind we were on a pretty busy road and it is kind of chilly out tonight! Josh and I decided that we would turn off on a side road and see if we could find the puppy!! About 5 minutes later Josh was able to get her to finally come to him!! She has no tags, she is dirty but so very very cute!! So yes we have a new puppy!! She was pretty shy at first and we put Jax out so she would not be scared... Finally we were able to intorduce the two of them!! They have had so much fun together!! She is totally running circles around Jax... So funny!! Josh thinks we should name her Marley!!! Very fitting!!

Jax In Josh's Clothes!

Josh was running out the door today and needed his wallet out of the pants he wore yesterday... He decided that he would not only leave them on the floor but he would lay them on Jax who was laying on the floor. Of course Jax being the very easy going dog just let them sit there! He had them on him for about 30 minutes. The funniest thing was watching him go from room to room dragging the pants behind him!! Oh dear!! What am I going to do with the 2 of them!!

Blueberry Muffins?!?!

Last night I had to run to the bank and to the grocery store to get some things. I decided that I would go to the Wells Fargo inside Safeway and kill 2 birds with one stone! While sitting on a chair and filling out my envelope for the ATM a little girl probably about 9 or 10 walks up to me and asks......"Excuse me, do you want my last blueberry muffin? I kid you not!! I tried so hard to contain the humor of it all and politely told her I had already eaten something. Seriously this is one of the most random things that has ever happened!! Granted she was sharing which was really sweet of her... However, it was still quite comical!

Great Quote!!

"What great thing would you attempt if you knew you could not fail?" ~Robert H. Schuller

I stole this quote off my sisters blog!! I really think this is true and I am certainly learning to test my boundries with things!! I think much could be accomplished by everyone if fear did not stand in our way!! There are certain things I am completely confident about and other things I get nervous and would rather take the backseat!!! However, I am learning very quickly taking the backseat is not going to get me anywhere.... I need to take the wheel and steer my life in the way I want it to go. If I want results, I cannot rely on others to get them for me!!!

That is just me expressing my very own opinion....

Visitors!!

For a couple of months now we have been tending to some unexpected visitors... I am not very happy about them being here either! We have trapped 5 mice, actually it was a little more than trapping... I was beginning to get extremely frustrated because the little rodents were in our pantry!!! Our pantry is huge and it is a walk in and I was tired of seeing remnets of food on the floor.... I thought we were rid of the little creatures but I was very wrong! We caught one on Sunday and I felt so bad for the little thing because it was not completely dead when I found it in the trap.... Ugh.... Why do they have to be so darn cute! Sunday night I decided to set 3 more traps and again bait them with cheese... Much to my dismay when I came home for lunch on Monday the little mouse decided to out smart me... Yes it got 3 pieces of cheese and the traps did not even snap... So I decided I was going to clean the entire pantry when I got home from work!! Clear out boxes of stuff on the floor and make sure everything was spotless.... While cleaning the pantry out I saw a little creature running.... I have never been so terrified of something 3 inches long!!! I was talking to my mom on the phone and I am sure she was having a hay day listening to me!! Seriously this thing was scaling the walls doing flips of all sorts.... I decided to call my neighbor Robin who thankfully came over and saved the day... She decided that she would use a tupperware with the lid to get this little sucker.... I have never ran so fast as I did when it ran out of the pantry... Poor thing was terrified (The mouse was too) Robin was able to catch the mouse without harm.... We decided we would walk to the end of the street and let the little mouse go!! It was a baby, I did not have the heart to kill it.... So there you have it!! As of Monday we have caught 6 mice... 5 died and 1 got the walk of mercy!! So here we are a couple days later, 5 traps in the pantry and mice free!!! For now at least!! Josh and I are seriously considering getting a kitten.....

Happy Anniversary!

I know I am a day late at this however, I wanted to just let Josh know how grateful I am for him!! I cannot believe it has already been three years... I know most of you are celebrating far more than that, but this is pretty exciting!! Josh is such an amazing guy and is a great father to Hailey and a great husband! He is such a handy man and I love that!! Hence the bathroom he installed in our basement! I know I have yet to post the pictures!! Thanks Josh for everything!! Love you!

Sick!

Little Miss has come down with something and did not feel good yesterday or today! It is never fun when little ones do not feel good! I remember not feeling well when I was younger but still wanted to do normal activities and always felt worse after doing so! Her fever is still around 100* hopefully it will break soon!! It is just not normal to be wearing a tank top and shorts to bed when it is freezing outside!! However, if it keeps her cool, I am all for it!!

Slumber Party With The Girls!!

Last night Hailey had a little slumber party with Payton! I love that they play so well together and have so much fun! I am not sure what time they finally fell asleep but I think it was after Josh and I, which was around 11 or so! All I could hear was singing coming from the bedroom... Need I say it was High School Musical songs! Before laying down the girls decided to play with some play dough. They brought some in to me while I was watching some tv and we made some funny faces with them! Oh memories of sleep overs!!
