Loving What I Do!!!!

This little guy was the cutest patient!! We had such a good time this morning, he was such a big boy!!! He even had a big boy cleaning.... At the young age of 2!!!

Dakota's New Game!!!

Apparently Dakota has a new game she likes to play. The name of the game is lets bat the door stop back and forth while everyone is trying to sleep!!! Yes she has found the door stop and loves it!!!

A Little Under The Weather!

It all started on Sunday night with a little scratchy feeling in my throat and it has slowly progressed all week! I know I was running myself crazy last weekend trying to get everything done for the party and then we went sledding and other fun family things! Cleaning the house has been on the bottom of my list! However, last night I knew that if I cleaned the house before going to bed I would be able to have a day all to myself! Good thing I thought ahead! I did not feel so hot this morning when I woke up and ended up staying in bed until 4:30.... Crazy I know! Josh was so sweet and brought me juice, soup and made sure I was doing ok! I think he was even a little shocked that I was still laying there at 4:30. I finally got up and took a shower, which felt good! I used some of the soaking salts that Hailey and her little friends used to soak their feet last Saturday..... It has calming stuff in it so I put some on the shower floor and let it all steam up... Heaven!! I could breathe! Needless to say it is now 11:23 pm and I am not tired at all... Funny how that works!! Oh well, I am sure that my body needed the rest and it probably won't take me to long to go to bed!!

Surprise!!!

I really wanted our 2ooth post to be something extra special and I certainly got more than I bargained for! So much for wishful thinking! Josh, Hailey and I had an amazing weekend.... Full of parties, sleepovers, sledding, spending time with neighbors, etc.... I was beginning to think it was perfect until Josh went to the basement at 8:00 last night to get some pillows of Hailey's that were left there and discovered that our sump pump stopped working!! For those of you who do not know what a sump pump is, it is a pump that is always draining ground water from under your house!! Well with the heavy wet snow we had on top of all the rain our pump went out sometime on Sunday!! The basement was now flooded!! UGH! Carpet and all! Josh was amazing and stayed so calm and collective makes situations like this so much easier! He and our neighbor Eddie tried to get some of the water out last night, however it was not working! Josh stayed home this morning so he could get some things taken care of! We were able to get someone to come out and extract the water from the carpet.... 150 gallons of water to be exact!! We are now trying to dry out the carpet and see if we are able to keep it! We caught it soon enough so hopefully there is not much damage to be taken care of!! I just think how lucky we are that Josh had to go get something out of the basement when he did!! So there you have it..... Our amazing 200th post!!

Run Run Run As Fast As You Can!!!

I think it is safe to say that Dakota loved playing in the snow!!! She did this for quite awhile before I ran upstairs to get the camera! Even after she laid down she got back up and kept going!! She is a crazy puppy!!!

A Day At The Spa!!!!

We had such a great time yesterday at Hailey's party.... I am so happy that everything turned out perfect despite the snow storm!! Only two of Haileys friends were unable to make it due to weather! We had 5 girls total and it was perfect!!

Here is the play by play......

Soak feet in relaxing salt water

(Josh and neighbor friend get stuck in the snow while going to get the food)

Style hair and spray glitter all over

Open gifts

Have cupcakes (Again)

Play games until the girls are picked up!!!

It sounds crazy, however, it was so much fun! I told Tommi my neighbor that I want to have a spa party and be pampered!!! I thought Hailey was going to fall asleep while she was getting her face massage!!

Each girl took home a pair of flip flops, an emmery board, nail polish, hair clips and a lip gloss!! One of the little girls that was snowed in yesterday was able to come over today and spend some time with Hailey!! I am happy that her parents let her do that! I know it was special for Hailey! I have to give some mad props to Josh for helping out!! He even draped a towel over his arm to really play the part!! The girls thought it was so funny!! Thanks Josh!!!!

Slumber Party!!

Hailey's birthday party is tomorrow and we are all so very excited for the festivities.... No really we are!! I will have a seperate post for that! Hailey had some little neighbor friends spend the night and we decided to open up the gifts from the family tonight and then we will do gifts from friends tomorrow. Hailey was more than thrilled to open the gift from Ma and Pappy!! She loved that there were dollar bills in every page of her book she got!! She also loves the gifts that Grandma and Grandpa Giardino got her... She is really looking forward to taking baths with her new foam art spray and water changing tablets!! The little girls thought it would be a good idea to all take a bath tonight.... Um not such a good idea! Josh and I got her a parachute like in gym class and a Radio Disney cd... Josh got an electric guitar at a garage sale for $5.00 that needed restringing.... You guessed it, he had it restrung and she LOVES it!!! Nothing like a 7 year old jamming out on an electric guitar! I will get photos of that! She got Marley and Me and it reminds us so much of Dakota, I cannot even explain it!!

I decided that I was going to do a trial run with a cupcake idea that my mom gave me.... The turned out wonderful!! If anyone wants to know how to do them let me know!! SO EASY!!! Thank you mom for the wonderful idea!! They were a big hit with the girls!!!

Winter Wonderland!!

I have waited so long to make a snowman. This has been one of the craziest winters I have experienced in Colorado! We finally got the wet heavy snow and it was much needed!! I love rolling the snow all over the yard to make big snowballs!!!

Colorado Spring Time!!!

Here we are April 17th and look at the treat mother nature brought us!!! Holy smokes! I love it!!! Here is the big question.... Can you find Dakota?!?! Should have named her Waldo!!

Time For Change.....!

Not really just a hair change! Thank you so much Crystal for always making me feel so pretty after leaving your salon!! I love the hair! Certainly different than what I have had in the past but I sure do like it!!

I know I am not the greatest picture taker of myself so these photos will have to do for now!!

Little Miss!!!

I cannot believe that Hailey will be turning 7 on Friday! I remember meeting her when she was 2 and never did it occur to me that I would be a part of her life 5 years later... She has been such a treat to have around and I love all that she brings to our home when she comes over! This morning I took her to school and we were able to sit and visit in the car while eating our sonic breakfast! It is in those small moments alone with her I realize how great she is and how much she has to offer!! She is a great little girl and I know her dad loves her very much as do I! Happy early birthday Hailey!!

HOLY........!

This post is not for the weak of stomachs.... Josh and I have lived in our home for almost 2 years now. We bought the house as a foreclosure and got it for an amazing price! For the past 2 years we have cleaned, fixed, recarpeted, put down hardwood floors, cleaned some more, etc.... We have always talked about getting our air ducts cleaned, however, we never have gotten around to it..... Let me tell you, IF YOU HAVE NOT HAD YOURS CLEANED AND YOU DID NOT BUY THE HOUSE BRAND NEW.... DO IT NOW!!!!! When they took the vent off of our dining room wall Josh decided to text me the picture of it.... OH MY GOODNESS!!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!! THIS IS BY FAR ONE OF THE GROSSEST THINGS I HAVE EVER SEEN!!! The sad thing is WE HAVE BEEN BREATHING THIS FOR THE PAST 2 YEARS!!! I have to say this is the BEST money we have spent and WORTH every penny!!! Just knowing they are cleaned gives me such peace of mind!! It makes me sick just thinking about it!!!!

Suspicious!!!

I was able to get off work early today so I decided to come home and reclaim my clean house!! I got all unfinished laundry done.... Still in washer and dryer, cleaned the kitchen, bedrooms, etc.... Last week I finally was able to get out in the backyard to clean up some overdue messes.... Throughout the winter I have been stock piling trash bags out there and finally decided today that I would get it all in the trash can for tomorrows pick up!! We have the gate blocked off since Dakota can get under a hole and we do not want her to run away so I decided that I was going to roll the big trash can through the house into the backyard.... I am sure you are all thinking I am crazy.... Here is the crazy part, I had yellow gloves on and I drag this thing through the house.... I am sure that anyone who saw this happening probably thought there was a murder inside our home and I needed to throw away the evidence!!! Am I the only one who thinks of these things.... It is like the movie "The Burbs" Where the Klopecks drive their trash to the end of their driveway.... Luckily we have hard wood floors so I am able to clean up the tracks from the wheels of the can.... Please do not think I am crazy.... I am happy to say I was able to get it all picked up!!! Now I can really relax tomorrow since that is typically my day off!!! YEAH!

Hailey's Room!!!

I got a wild hair for some reason and decided to switch rooms around!! I changed the spare bedroom into Hailey's room and used some paint our neighbors gave us to change the look! I know it looks a little cluttered, however, surprisingly she plays with all of this stuff and likes it right where it is!! I think it turned out pretty good!! Nothing like a bright pink and blue room!!!
This is a picture of Kaden and Hailey hanging on her wall that they had done at Chukie Cheese's on Saturday! I cannot believe how well they play together!! I am so grateful for good neighbors!!

Look Who's Getting Bigger!!!!

There are days where I certainly want to pull my hair out, if Dakota does not get to it first.... Then there are the days where you cannot help but love her! I cannot believe how big Dakota is getting!! It amazes me how well her and Jax get along!! I am so happy that we have her around!!
